Marine adventures live and die on the weather, and every plan worth making begins with the window and ends with the sea state on the way home, which is why BoatClaw carries the best-equipped weather suite of any marine planning and navigation app. Observed radar refreshed every two minutes, with up to two and a half hours of history in two products, two hours of lightning and more than 1,700 reporting stations and buoys establish present conditions; forecast radar in fifteen-minute intervals, wind and precipitation to sixteen days and sea state to ten, with the forecaster’s own discussion alongside, establish what’s coming. Select any point on the chart and wind, seas and ride align on a single time axis beneath a single cursor, the tide curve in attendance, so the decision is made at the table, with the whole picture in view.
